Group Therapy
Groups can be a wonderful format for people to build community and support around a shared focus. Did you know that studies have shown groups to be just as effective at creating lasting change as individual therapy? Being part of a therapeutic group can make you feel less alone in what you’re struggling with, and provides a safe space to learn coping skills and share helpful information.
I lead 6-week group series comprised of female-identified participants. The groups are limited to 6 women and are sometimes co-led by myself and another therapist, Jennifer Bees, depending on the group focus. Groups are offered either in virtual or in-person format. Past groups have focused on:
Infertility
Parenting in the first year
Grief
Spirituality
